Holy Mallam, the pioneer of ethical comedy and the ideology of clean jokes in Nigeria, after more than a decade of building the brand has become more than a comedy character. He recently embarked on the social responsibility project, Good Hands via Holy Mallam Events Limited. The Initiative aims at inspiring Nigerian youths on the need to look within for their God given talent and develop it in combination with the excellent education. The re-orientation program set to take place in secondary schools in Nigeria has already begun moving ahead, making ample progress and has received commendations in Lagos State.
The Good Hands initiative with Holy Mallam is a platform to give back to the youths of Nigeria. The co curricular event is aimed at augmenting core curriculum education and that strategically prompted the decision to reach out to students via their secondary schools. The interactive event is held in the school premises and the student participants are engaged through direct facilitation by Holy Mallam. The pioneer of ethical comedy, synonymous with clean jokes takes the students on a blend of inspirational comedy of true stories of his life experiences and focuses on leadership, success, education, moral ethics, service and the God factor as topics that leave the participants minds resonating for a positive delivery of value.
Holy Mallam, who is also a Youth Ambassador of Global Peace endorsed by the United Nations reached out to students of Ronik Comprehensive College, Ejigbo and Primetouch College, Obadore, both in Lagos via Good Hands Initiative. The warm welcome by the school management, teachers and students at the schools were outstanding. Holy Mallam imparted gradually in the student participants the importance of education, and the discovery and development of their God given talent. During his facilitating session, he urged the students to set out to be positive models in their school, immediate environment and the society. Speaking on the value of education, he told the students that reading books and being serious with their education would ensure that the challenges of the future would never be able to get rid of them. He said that, “it would be of immense advantage for the students to exploit the combination of their talent plus the excellent education they were getting presently from their school.”
The students were treated to a question and answer section during the program where they had the opportunity to ask Holy Mallam questions. At the end of the program, Holy Mallam presented some branded Good Hands souvenirs and products from Greenlife Pharmaceuticals, one of Nigeria’s foremost pharmaceutical companies to the students. The school management and student participants of both Ronik Comprehensive College, Ejigbo and Primetouch College, Obadore in Lagos expressed their appreciation and commended the Good hands initiative by Holy Mallam and Greenlife Pharmaceuticals corporate support as deserving of praise and emulation.
